Here's to a better 2021.
Happy New Year, readers. I hope you woke up this morning with a brighter sense of spirit and a renewed sense of hope for what's to come in this brand new year. I surprised myself last night by holding on long enough to bid farewell to the year that never should have been and welcome the year that needs to be. And, I think I speak for everyone when I say, good riddance.
Let this year be the year of change- real, good change. Change that has more to do with self-reflection and improvement than it does COVID, masks, and home-schooling. My wish for everyone, myself included, is a year full of better. 2021 doesn't have to be perfect, great, or even good so long as it is better than 2020.
So, take some time today to re-evaluate and refocus. Don't stress the small stuff, and try to not have unrealistic expectations for what comes with a flip of the calendar. We may all want great, but we need better, and better can start from within.
Cheers, friends. Here's to a better 2021.
