We're here for you, and always will be.

Happy Wednesday and 1st of July Readers! It has been a minute hasn’t it? Sorry about that. I had to take some time away from my writing to start the office back up. But, let me tell you, it feels good to be back. During our time away from one another, Mainstreet Counseling focused on our visibility and brand. We actually started advertising. Can you believe it- me on the radio? Anyway, I want to be clear about something.

Our decision to go ‘public’ if you will is far more about you than it is about me or Mainstreet. As a mental health provider, I want only the best for every individual. There are people out there who are struggling right now, and our message to them is simple, you are not alone. Mainstreet is here for you. I am here for you, and my partners are here for you. But, we are not the only ones. Green County is special that way. In addition to all the great things we offer, our community has many, outstanding mental health resources for anyone in every stage of life. To help support our mission and theirs, I welcome you all to check out our new Community Resources tab. Each month we will be adding new, helpful resources that can be accessed by anyone at anytime. Some resources will be local and some will be from our partners in Dane County, but all of them are designed to give comfort, information, and hope to all who visit.

Learn about upcoming events on our Community Events page. Get the immediate help you need from one of our partners or friends on our very own Crisis Connect page. If you want to do more by helping out a great cause or program, check out our Get Involved page. And, of course, see what great resources there are on our Workshops & Interactive Resources page.

I want what’s best for you. If it’s Mainstreet, great! But, if it’s not, or if you’re just not ready to reach out, at least let me point you in the right direction and give you some tools to help.

Until next time, take care friends.
